Our naturopath, pharmacist Phil Wade's unique method of striving for your Wellness Outcome™  can also complement your medical prescription. Help improve vitality 

You see, we aim to improve your vitality if you have been suffering from 'long term' illnesses - those that have snuck up on you and gradually caused fatigue, eczema, ill-health of a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual nature. To this end, as a complementary medicine health clinic, we initially treat the immediate symptoms by using natural therapy.

We have several key tools at our disposal to achieve this - remedial massage, iridology, herbal medicine, homoeopathic medicine, nutritional medicine and deep tissue  frequency specific treatment. 

Scientific complementary testing

To help us to determine and defeat the frank, underlying causes of your chronic illness, we perform unique in-house tests, including Hemaview™ live blood analysis (a window to inside you) and follow them up with state of the art treatments, such as: Frequency Specific microcurrent; a herbal dispensary containing a full range of pure, concentrated herbal extracts; our own multivitamin/mineral powder (for foundation nutrition) containing all 78 biologically active colloidal minerals; a full range of practitioner vitamins/remedies; a homoeopathic dispensary and our own fully-equipped pharmacy laboratory where we not only make our own in-house range of creams and vitamins but also can compound - or tailor-make - your unique medicines and present them in capsules, troches or creams. 

Other herbs, changes in food choices that may be silently harming you and supplements can also improve your health in the long term.**

Phil Wade is an experienced Scientific Naturopath and Pharmacist with 39 years experience. Phil specialises in PreConception health for males and females and Chronic Fatigue. Initially specialising in dietary solutions to acne and psoriasis, children's growth health issues (including moodiness, ADD and ADHD), teens health (Iincluding scoliosis and severe acne as well as extremes in moods) and male health, his interest reached out into the abovementioned areas due to simple results. His protocols are well advanced as he employs TGA-approved Precision™ frequency specific deep tissue MicroCurrent therapy, and Bio Impedence VLA testing. Other screening tests we employ include Urinary Indicans (to test for "Leaky Gut") and Hemaview™ live blood analysis for allergy indicators (including food allergy), oxidative stress, nutritional imbalances and liver distress. We have developed many of these later protocols by regular attendance at Continuing Professional Education conferences and seminars.

At the Lane Cove Wellness Centre, we have developed our unique approach over 32 years. In that time Phils methods have changed greatly in response to the needs of his clients. As your naturopath, Phil was originally trained as a pharmacist at a fundamental level - as was Jan - combining the dispensing skills of plant and elemental medicines with the very highest level of theoretical physical chemistry and the other specialist pharmacy topics of pharmaceutical, organic, inorganic and analytical chemistry, pharmacognosy and pharmacology as well as basic physics and zoology and "rounded off" with an elective year in psychology.

So as not to put all that good training in pharmaceutics to waste, Phil developed a state-of-the-art laboratory in 2009 to convert the pharmacy into a Compounding Chemist. This activity complements both the world of modern medicine with that of traditional or complementary medicine.

This dual approach also highlights the sensible philosophy of The Wades - we run an orthodox pharmacy aspect to help people in crisis. We also believe that many of you suffer from health challenges that are related to the over-refined foods of society today and that this problem can lead to a slow breakdown of health. His fortunate additional background in naturopathy, encompassing such subjects as herbal and nutritional medicine, homoeopathy and wholistic (therapeutic) counselling as well as anatomy and physiology, pathology and units such as Iridology, Macrobiotics and levels 1 to 4 of Remedial Massage have given him the ability and desire to see through superficial symptoms and get to the root cause of health problems and to identify and utilise the tools necessary to help rectify them.

The 32 years Phil has spent attending the often excellent seminars and literature reviews on targeted nutritional treatments, initially produced by such lumninaries as Bob Buist, Jeffrey Bland, Henry Osiecki and the Metagenics team - along with the biennial - and now annual - International Clinical Nutrition conferences during that period - have enabled me to see the solutions to many problems that might have otherwise escaped my notice. 

Not only that but also I find myself using our Precision™ Frequency Specific microcurrent deep tissue machine - as a stunningly successful adjunct to treatments for painful conditions of all types - more and more frequently these days.

Constantly researching, learning and refining his practise of Wellness Outcome™ methodology over that period of time, Phil believes that he have acquired the experience and knowledge to help to restore the health of his clients. 

With the input of his daughter, Kirsty, we have developed the clinic over the past ten years to the diverse offering that is is today. Kirsty is current;y studying her Naturopathy degree and has installed many client-nurturing systems. And she is an excellent remedial masseuse.

The benefit of our working in harmony with the outstanding Wade's Pharmacy stems from the fact that our approach to the practice of pharmacy has been equally innovative and constantly at the cutting edge of Quality Care pharmacy practise. So much so that last year, Lane Cove Municipal Council awarded us spontaneusly with a community services award for innovation, service to the community and dedication to the practice of our profession.  In fact, your author has always lead the charge at the level of Official Pharmacy to develop and make such innovations available to all Pharmacy Guild members - our pharmacy colleagues .
